Ace Archers Deepika Kumari & Atanu Das ties knot in Ranchi

Top Indian Archers Deepika Kumari and Atanu Das on Tuesday tied the knot at Morabadi in Ranchi with following the social distancing norms to avoid the Covid-19 threat. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren was also present on the occasion and wished both Dipika and Atanu them a happy married life.

On the wedding 60 invitation cards have been sent out to the guests with all the safety protocols to be followed during the ceremonies. Newly-elected president of Archers Association of India’s (AAI) Arjun Munda, former Jharkhand chief minister who played a big part in shaping Deepika’s Kumari’s career was also present at the wedding and performed the Kanyadaan ritual.

Deepika Kumari won gold medal in Commonwealth Games , participated in Olympics and currently ranked World no.9. On the other hand Atanu Das has been a regular in the men’s recurve team.
