Guwahati: One person was killed and one injured in a road accident in Bajali district of Assam on Wednesday.
The incident took place in the Pathsala village of the district.
The accident occurred after, a speeding unidentifiable vehicle collided with a man who was riding and a woman pedestrian.
In the incident, one person died on the spot and one was severely injured and was sent to Pathsala Civil Hospital for treatment.
The deceased was identified as Nripen Kalita who is a resident of Borongba area of the village.
Meanwhile, the identity of the injured is yet to be ascertained
It needs to be mentioned that the Police officials has confirmed about the incident and further investigation into the matter is underway.
