10 coal miners kidnapped by Suspected ULFA-I, NSCN cadres in Tinsukia along Assam-Arunachal border

Guwahati, 18th February: A total of 10 individuals, working at the 14 number coal mine in Finboro along the Assam-Arunachal border within Tinsukia district, were reportedly abducted by suspected ULFA-I and NSCN cadres on the intervening night of February 17.

According to reports, a group of suspected militants, consisting of 7 members, allegedly held the individuals at gunpoint and transported them in a dumper to old Longtoi, a remote area in Arunachal Pradesh, around 3 am this morning.

Among the abducted individuals, one has been identified as Gyan Thapa.
