11 Coaches of LTT-Jaynagar Pawan Express Derail in Maharashtra

Guwahati: At least 11 coaches of Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT)-Jaynagar Express derailed near Nashik in Maharashtra on Sunday.

The incident took place at around 3:10 pm between Lahavit and Devlali in the Bhusaval division.

According to the central railway CPRO, an accident relief train from Manmad, accident relief medical equipment from Bhusaval, and a medical van from Igatpuri were despatched to the spot shortly after the incident.

No casualties have been reported in the incident.

However, two minor injuries have been reported in the incident.  Both the injured are given primary treatment.

Following the incident, three trains have been cancelled 12109 (CSMT-MMR), 12110 (MMR-CSMT), and 11401 (CSMT-ADB), while three others have been redirected.
