Guwahati: In an operation against drugs in Assam, Guwahati Railway Police (GRP) seized a massive quantity of cannabis (ganja) worth around Rs 15 lakh from a train on Friday morning.
Based on tip-offs, GRP raided the train at the Guwahati Railway Station and seized Ganja weighting around 130 kilograms from a Rajdhani express train that was stationed there.
The operation was carried out by a team of Guwahati Railway police led by Prasenjit Das, Officer in-charge (OC) of Guwahati Railway police.
Moreover, no one has been arrested as of yet and further investigation is going on.
