Assam: SEBA to conduct Special Half Yearly Exams

Guwahati: The Assam Board of Secondary Education (SEBA) will hold a special half-yearly test for students in Classes IX and X who were unable to write the exam in October.

In a statement, the Board stated that the schools will hold a special half-yearly examination for those who were unable to attend the October examination and for those who failed the HSLC/AHM (Special) examination in 2021.

The Board has directed the schools to finish the examination by December 15, 2021. It further stated that the records of students’ performance (class-wise) in the Special Half-Yearly Examination must be entered in the online portal for mark entry and kept with the records of the previous Half-Yearly Examination.

The SEBA statement further noted that if any student in Class X fails to attend the Special half-yearly test again, he or she will not be allowed to fill out the online form for the upcoming HSLC/AHM examination in 2022.
