The 1st All Assam Inter District Dragon Boat Championship was held today in the presence of Onkarmal Kedia, IIS, Director General, Sports Authority of Assam and Chief Guest of the event, Dharmakanta Mili, ACS, Director of Sports and Youth Welfare, Assam, S Ritubaron Sharma, Vice Chairman, AMTRON, Assam and Vice President, AOA and others at Hazarapar Stadium, Tezpur on Sunday.
11 districts participated in the first ever inter district dragon boat championships besides participation in the indigenous sports and cultural programmes.
