Guwahati: In a tragic incident, at least three members of a family were killed in a major landslide in Gangtok city of Sikkim on Tuesday midnight.
The incident took place at around 1:45 in Rongay Dokan Dara Dechiling of the city.
According to reports, a woman along with her two children were killed in a landslide.
The woman identified as Doma Sherpa 27, her 8-year-old son and a 7-month-old baby.
The tragedy has been informed to Doma Sherpa’s husband.
Reportedly, he is currently in Siliguri and will be returning soon
Meanwhile, the Sikkim Disaster Management Authority claimed that they have been assisting with the debris clean-up.
