Guwahati: Two persons died and one injured in a road accident in Karimganj district of Assam on Thursday.
The two deceased identified as Mojibur Rahman and Mohammad Jaynal. Both of them are the resident of Kalain area of Cachar.
The incident took place in the Badarpur area of the district.
According to reports, both the passengers were travelling in an auto rickshaw when a trailer truck mowed down.
Meanwhile, the driver of the truck was critically injured and currently undergoing medical attention.
However, the identity of the driver is yet to be ascertained.
