2 Labourers Electrocuted In Assam’s Pathsala, 1 Dies

Guwahati: In an unfortunate incident, one person died of electrocution and one was seriously injured after they came contact with an 11,000 volts live wire in Bajali district of Assam on Wednesday.

The incident took place at Titka village in Pathsala of the district.

According to reports, a group of three labourers were engrossed in a pipe fitting work in the village. Two of them came in contact with high voltage wires, leading to the death of one.

The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Khargeswar Roy who was a resident of Katakuchi in Pathsala. He was killed on the spot.

Moreover, the other labourer who had been critically injured during the incident identified as 60-year-old Praja Das and a resident of the same village.
