Guwahati: Two meet records were made on the third day of the Guwahati’s National Junior Athletics Championships 2022.
Reports claim that on Sunday, Kiran K from Kerala broke Sandeep Gond’s previous record in the U16 hurdle event to set a new meet record.
Moreover, Kuldeep Kumar from Uttar Pradesh set a new record in the U18 Pole Vault competition. He surpassed Ranchi native Deep Yadav’s previous record.
The two athletes achieved this success at Sports Authority of India in Paltan Bazar.
Guwahati will play host to the National Junior Athletics Championships from November 11–15. The competition has attracted athletes from all throughout India.
