2 Students Killed, 48 Injured As Bus Overturns in Maharashtra’s Raigad

Guwahati: In a tragic incident, two minor students were allegedly killed and several others seriously injured after a bus carrying students overturned in Maharashtra’s Raigad district on Sunday evening.

Following the accident, the injured students were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where two students were declared dead.

The two deceased identified as 17-year-old Hritika Khanna and 16-year-old Raj Mhatre.

The incident took place at around 8pm near the Magic Point on the Khopoli Ghat in Raigad.

As per Raigad Police, the students were heading towards Chembur after a picnic.

Reportedly, the bus turned turtle after the driver lost control over it.

A case has been lodged in this regard.
