Guwahati: Two minor labourers from Assam’s Lakhimpur district died in a landslide in Arunachal Pradesh.
The incident took place on Monday while the two were excavating near a hill and suddenly, a massive chunk of land crashed on top of them, resulting in the death of the minors.
The two deceased were identified as Nurjamal Haque and Asadul Islam, both from Lakhimpur’s Nadika village.
Meanwhile, the bodies of the two youngsters were retrieved by Arunachal police and they sent the bodies for post mortem.
It may be mentioned that later the bodies were sent to their respective village in Assam.
