The Education and Law Minister of Tripura Ratan Lal Nath addressed a press meet in Agartala Mahakaran relating COVID-19 issues in the state and also various other issues. He said that at present there are 194 people in the facility quarantine, 4,766 people in the home quarantine, total samples have been collected from 9,1386 people, 87,765 people were tested for corona by RTPC-R method, out of which 2151 people tested positive for corona and antigen test kit. Total negative cases are 8,6494 people, 1,602 people infected with coronavirus have recovered, at present the total number of patients infected with coronavirus stands at 2,282 and 3 people have died. A second patient infected with the virus died on Wednesday and his house was in Kalyanpur of Khowai district.
The body of the patient who died last night was taken to the morgue and after the autopsy report, the body was taken out of the Covid Care Center of GB Hospital in the middle of the night and taken to Battala Mahasmashan in Agartala.
