3 Accused Held In Mumbai For Beating Youth To Death
Guwahati: Three people were arrested by police on Sunday after they were accused of killing a 28-year-old man in Mumbai by assaulting him.
The deceased has been identified as Ronit Prabhakar Bhalerao, who was travelling with a buddy to the Matunga labour camp on Sunday evening when he got into a fight with one of the accused for reportedly gazing at him, according to Shahunagar Police of Mumbai.
The three defendants “threatened Ronit with belts, kicked and punched him, and then twice smashed him to the ground,” stated the police.
“Rohit was severely injured and sent to the hospital, where the doctor pronounced him dead,” stated further.
All the three accused have been arrested and a case under sections 302, 324, 326, 504, 506 and 34 of IPC has been registered.
