Guwahati: Three people have been arrested for allegedly gang-raping a schoolgirl in the Goalpara district of Assam.
The incident took place at Agia village on Saturday afternoon.
According to reports, the victim minor girl was returning from school when the tradegy took place.
Reports claim that the three criminals conducted the horrible act in a jungle close to the settlement.
On the basis of a complaint made by the victim’s family, the trio was later arrested.
Moreover, a POCSO Act lawsuit was registered against them.
