Guwahati: Three persons have been arrested for allegedly being involved in rape and molestation from Papum Pare district of Arunachal Pradesh.
Based on a complaint lodged by some students accusing them of sexually abuse at the government higher secondary school (GHSS) in Kimin arrested the accused.
Additionally, the police received a written report from the Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.
The victims’ statements were recorded on Friday. One of them said that Tadh Nunu had “raped the victim repeatedly by inducing terror” in the victim.
It is discovered that Sahil Khan, a second individual, also harassed and attempted to rape the woman.
A teacher of the school, identified as Tanmay Tripathi is said to have abused them repeatedly as well.
The trio was found after a manhunt. A case under relevant sections has also been registered against them.
