3 Critically Injured After Getting Stuck in Crusher Machine In Assam

Guwahati: Three women suffered severe injuries after getting stuck at a crusher machine in Dibrugarh district of Assam on Monday afternoon.

According to reports, the women suffered injuries after becoming trapped in the crusher machine at a stone quarry operated by Pinku Singh in Namrup.

Following the incident, the injured were rushed immediately to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH) for treatment in critical condition.

The three injured have been identified as Anita Harijan, Rasmita Tanti and Sunita Tanti.

Allegations state that the stone quarry lacked adequate safety measures.

Few days ago, Ashok Borsaikia, a former advisor for the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) in the Philbari region, passed away after becoming trapped inside a crushing machine at a factory in Dima Hasao.
