3 Drown in Separate Incidents 

Guwahati: Three persons drowned in two different incidents in Assam on Tuesday.

In the first incident, one person drowned in the Brahmaputra River in Dibrugarh district while he was taking a bath in the river.

The person has been identified as Mithu Basfor.

Meanwhile, search operations have been launched by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and the Dibrugarh Police to recover the person’s body.

On the other hand, another person in a severe state has been admitted to the Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH).

In the second incident, two youths drowned in the Disang River in Sivasagar district’s Disangmukh.

The persons have been identified as Raj Roy and Sej Roy, hailing from Sivasagar Station Chariali.

On the occasion of Rakh Purnima, they reportedly had gone to the river to take a bath.

Meanwhile, the SDFR has launched search operations to trace the duo.
