Guwahati: In another series of creating a ruckus by a drunken woman, three women were detained from Zoo Road area of Guwahati for causing a disturbance on the streets while supposedly intoxicated.
After receiving complaints, Geetanagar police reached the spot and detained the trio.
According to reports, the three women allegedly fought female police officers and yelled insults at them while they were being detained but were soon subdued.
They were taken to a hospital on Tuesday morning for medical examinations, following which they will be taken back to the police station for further legal proceedings.
According to the police, they would be charged under the appropriate IPC sections.
