30 Foreign Nationals Deported for Overstaying without Valid Visa in Delhi

Guwahati: At least 30 foreign nationals were expelled from Delhi’s Dwarka area. This was informed by the officials on Thursday.

The foreign people were apprehended in a joint operation by the teams of AATS, Anti-Narcotics Cell, PS Uttam Nagar, and PS Mohan Garden, Dwarka District, under the general direction of DCP Dwarka, as part of the ongoing crackdown on foreign nationals who are dwelling there illegally.

Of the 30 people deported, 27 had Nigerian citizenship, two had Ivory Coast citizenship, and one had Ivoirienne citizenship.

“They were found overstaying in India without a valid Visa. They were produced before the FRRO who ordered for their deportation. Accordingly, they have been sent to the Detention Centre,” an official statement read.
