Guwahati: In a major anti- narcotics operation in Guwahati, around 30 kilograms of marijuana has been seized by Jalukbari Police on Wednesday.
Two persons has been detained in connection with the incident.
The detainees have been identified as Ritu Kalita and Bikash Das. Both of them is a resident of Hajo town.
According to reports, both of them were caught red-handed with the cannabis in their possession.
Police officials informed that they have been taken into custody on suspicion of drug possession and are currently being interrogated.
It needs to be mentioned that three mobile phones along with cash amounting to Rs 18,160 were also seized from them.
