Their crucial role in the recent Operation Remal Rahat stands as a testament to their readiness and effectiveness in assisting local communities grappling with the aftermath of the destructive Cyclone Remal.
Furthermore, the battalion’s swift and decisive actions as first responders during critical incidents such as the Umrangso coal mine rescue and the Lokmanya Tilak Express derailment at Dibalong underscore their vital contribution to civilian safety and well-being, providing essential medical assistance and facilitating evacuations.
