Guwahati: A herd of 32 buffaloes has been seized by the New Guwahati Railway Police from BG Yard in Bamunimaidam of Guwahati.
According to reports, the buffaloes were brought by train from New Delhi to Assam.
Reportedly, the buffaloes were brought to Assam under the name AK Mandal Enterprise from one East West Nagali Dairy Farm in New Delhi.
The buffaloes were found by the New Guwahati Railway police while being carried on a truck bearing registration number AS 01 NC 4826.
However, the railway police began their inquiry to investigate the smuggling of the buffaloes from New Delhi to Assam.
