320 Fresh COVID-19 Cases Reported In Assam
Guwahati: Assam recorded 320 new COVID-19 cases with a positive rate of 5.49 percent, in the past 24 hours as per the bulletin from the National Health Mission (NHM).
Reportedly, the bulletin states that the Kamrup Metropolitan district, which includes Guwahati City largely recorded 28 of these instances. Following 25 in Dibrugarh and 21 in Sivasagar, Cachar and Dhemaji each reported reporting 28 new COVID-19 patients.
As per reports, there were currently 4,426 active cases in the state.
Moreover, the death toll remained at 8,020 because no COVID-19-related deaths were reported in the state over the past two days. 1,347 of them had other medical conditions.
However, the state has so far reported 7,41,502 COVID-19 instances, but 7,29,054 of those patients have recovered.
