Guwahati: An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 on the Richter Scale occurred in the Andaman and Nicobar islands close to the Andaman Sea on Tuesday.
The earthquake occurred at around 3:40 am, according to the National Center for Seismology.
According to the NCS, the earthquake had a depth of 77 Km.
