Guwahati: In a tragic incident, four youths were allegedly killed in separate road accidents that occurred in Goalpara district of Assam on Monday night.
In the first incident, two people died instantly after an unidentified vehicle hit a bike at a high rate of speed near a petrol pump in Darrang.
A second person who was riding the bike also passed away from his wounds at a nearby hospital.
The three deceased identified as Abani Bodo, Jitul Rabha and Manab Bodo.
It has been learned that the trio was travelling home after attending the Raas festival in Dudhnoi on the ill-fated night.
In another incident, a motorcycle collided with a speeding car in Krishnoi and was killed while another was injured.
Coincidentally, they were both coming back from the Dudhnoi Raas festival.
Following the incident, the duo was rushed to a hospital, however, one of them succumbed to his injuries.
