Guwahati: At least five people were dead and more than a dozen injuries reported after the jeep they were riding crashed with a truck in Nagpur district of Rajasthan.
The accident occurred on a Thursday night when the victims and deceased were travelling back from Ramdevra along the Ladnun Highway near the village of Burari in Rajasthan.
The victims have been identified as Phholchand (40), Rohitash (25), Kaushalya (25), Rukma (7), and Hemraj (7), residents of Abawas village in the Sikar area of Ringas .
The injured were taken to the JLN Hospital in Nagaur after the tragedy, while the seriously injured were immediately sent to a hospital in Jodhpur.
