Guwahati: Dengue killed five individuals in Mizoram, where 1,510 people contracted it up until November of this year.
The five dengue fatalities were from the Aizawl district, which had the highest incidence of illnesses, according to programme officials with the health and family welfare department’s state-vector borne disease control programme on Sunday.
Out of the 1,510 infected people, 1,370 were from Aizawl district, 51 from Lunglei and 34 from Champhai district.
