60 Lakhs Bamboo Nurseries to be Set Up in Assam
Guwahati: The Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Rameswar Teli declared that 60 lakh bamboo nurseries would be established in Assam.
Teli announced the news in Tinsukia on Wednesday.
A sum amount of Rs. 9 crores will be spent for setting up the nursery.
He declared that upper Assam would be home to at least 12 bamboo warehouses.
Teli added that the state had adopted pricey plans for ethanol projects.
He added that initiatives have been launched to improve the Numaligarh refinery’s capability for processing in the Golaghat area.
He added that crude oil will be piped in from outside the state.
