The Sports Minister of Haryana, Shri Sandeep Singh on Thursday visited the Bhogeswari Phukanani Stadium and the Sarusajai Sports Complex of the Sports Authority of Assam. The visit was organised to see the infrastructure and other arrangements made by the Assam Government during the ‘Khelo India Youth Games, 2020’, held in Guwahati on January this year.
“80 percent sports talent is in rural areas” Former Indian Hockey captain, Olympian and Haryana Sports Minister Sandeep Singh said at an event organized by Assam Olympic Association in Guwahati on Thursday.
The Health Minister of Haryana also stressed the need for providing financial support to talents during preparation for international meet.
Praising the infrastructure in Guwahati Singh welcomed all sport’s lovers to Haryana for the next edition of “Khelo India youth games 2021”.
