Guwahati: Assam Police seized a massive consignment of cannabis during an operation in Biswanath district.
Biswanath Police had launched an operation in Biswanath which they intercepted a vehicle.
After searching the vehicle, police recovered 95 kg cannabis concealed inside the four-wheeler vehicle.
Meanwhile, police officials also arrested two accused in connection with the seizure.
Taking to Twitter, Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma appreciated the efforts of Biswanath Police and said, “Yesterday, @BiswanathPol intercepted a four-wheeler vehicle and seized 95 kg Ganja. Also apprehended two accused. Great work @assampolice keep it up”.
