Assam CM Hails Historic Military Action Against Cross-Border Terrorism
Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has publicly commended the Indian armed forces and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for what he termed a landmark and resolute military response aimed at dismantling terrorism originating from beyond India’s borders. In a detailed address concerning the recent developments involving India and Pakistan, Sarma revealed, “The DGMO provided a comprehensive briefing, detailing the precision strikes executed by the Indian armed forces within Pakistani territory, accompanied by irrefutable evidence. Never before has any nation successfully neutralized over 100 militants within another country’s borders.”

Today, the Prime Minister has demonstrated the fulfillment of that pledge.”
The Chief Minister accentuated the scale and accuracy of the operation, asserting that it marked the first instance of India employing missiles to eliminate more than 100 terrorists within a foreign nation. He expressed profound gratitude to the armed forces and the Prime Minister, characterizing the action as a potent demonstration of India’s military prowess and determination.
Addressing the potential for ceasefire violations, Sarma issued a stern warning, “Should Pakistan breach the ceasefire, the Indian forces are prepared to deliver a decisive and proportionate response.”
These statements are made amidst a period of heightened tensions and follow reported strikes targeting terrorist infrastructure across the border, reaffirming India’s uncompromising stance against terrorism.
