Guwahati: Two men have been left with serious injuries in a head-on collision in Cachar district of Assam on Tuesday night.
The incident took place on National Highway 6 at Gumrah of the district.
The accident occurred between a truck and a dumper.
As per sources, both drivers of the vehicles were seriously injured in the accident.
Following the accident, local residents immediately came to their aid, rescuing them from the wreckage and rushing them to the hospital for medical treatment.
The drivers are currently receiving treatment at the hospital. Their condition is being closely monitored by medical staff, and efforts are being made to stabilize their health.
