Assam: St. Francis De Sales School Honours Class X and XII CBSE Achievers in Felicitation Ceremony

Guwahati: St. Francis De Sales School, Satgaon, Narengi, held a grand felicitation ceremony on May 21, 2025, to celebrate the exceptional academic achievements of its students in the CBSE Class X and XII Board Examinations. The event marked a proud moment for the school, highlighting the consistent excellence of its students across academic streams.

This year, 42 students from Class X scored above 90%, with Siba Prasad Kar emerging as the Class X topper, securing an outstanding 98.2%. In Class XII, a total of 36 students achieved above 90% marks across the Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams. Among them, Unmilita Pathak and Zeba Tahsin Ahmed topped the Humanities stream with an impressive 97% each.

The ceremony took place in the presence of distinguished guests, parents, and faculty members. The event was graced by Fr. Genes Shagpliang, Manager of MSFS Provinciate; Fr. Santosh Varghese, School Bursar; and Fr. George Thomas MSFS, Principal of the school.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Fr. George Thomas expressed heartfelt pride in the students’ performance. “We are incredibly proud of our students who have come out with flying colours in the CBSE examinations. Their success is a reflection of their hard work, the dedication of our teachers, and the unwavering support of their families,” he said.

The ceremony concluded with an inspiring message from the Principal, urging students to remain grounded, continue striving for excellence, and carry forward the values and discipline imparted by the school.
