The joint forces managed to intercept a substantial consignment of heroin and a firearm, delivering a severe blow to the illicit narcotics trade operating in the region.
Official channels confirmed the recovery of 648 grams of heroin, a quantity valued at an eye-watering ₹3.5 crore in the underground market. Alongside the dangerous drug, a pistol was also seized during the meticulously planned raid. One individual, identified as a key player in the drug peddling network, has been apprehended and is currently in police custody, facing stringent legal action.
