Lt Colonel Rajveer Singh Chauhan Laid to Rest with Full Honours in Jaipur
National: The mortal remains of Lt Colonel Rajveer Singh Chauhan (Retd), one of the seven victims of the tragic helicopter crash near Kedarnath in Uttarakhand, were laid to rest with full military honours in Jaipur on Tuesday, June 18 would be but as per given data 17.

Lt Colonel Chauhan’s wife, Lt Colonel Deepika Chauhan, stood by his coffin with immense strength and dignity. Rajasthan Minister and former Olympian Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore attended the final rites, representing the state government and paying tribute to the late officer’s service and sacrifice. The presence of serving and retired military personnel alongside political leaders highlighted the impact Lt Colonel Chauhan had made both in uniform and in civil life.
The Indian Tricolour was draped over his coffin, and the sound of military salutes echoed during the final farewell. Lt Colonel Chauhan, a decorated veteran of the Indian Army, had been on a pilgrimage when the ill-fated helicopter met with a fatal accident in the mountainous region of Kedarnath. The crash, which occurred on Sunday, claimed all seven lives on board, drawing national attention and widespread condolences.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the cause of the crash. Meanwhile, tributes continue to pour in from across the country, honouring Lt Colonel Chauhan and the six others who lost their lives in the incident. The nation mourns the loss of a distinguished soldier and a devoted family man.
