Guwahati: The results of the highly anticipated Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET)-cum-Recruitment Test 2024 for graduate teachers in Assam are set to be officially declared today, June 23, 2025. State Education Minister Ranoj Pegu confirmed this development on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, over the weekend.
According to Minister Pegu, the results will be announced today, followed by document verification and final confirmation of appointments. The examination, conducted by the Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam, took place on January 19, 2025, aiming to recruit 8,230 graduate teachers across various disciplines and 1,487 Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs).
Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results and download their mark sheets from the official DSE Assam website after 11 am today. To access their results, candidates will need to log in with their application number and password.
The TET-cum-Recruitment Test was conducted to fill a total of 9,717 posts, comprising 8,230 graduate teacher positions and 1,487 PGT positions. The recruitment drive aims to appoint qualified candidates to various teaching positions in schools across Assam.
