Indian Army, Fire Services Conduct Joint Drill, Bolstering Emergency Preparedness at Rayang Military Station
Rayang – In a significant step towards fortifying regional emergency response, a comprehensive fire safety drill was successfully conducted at Rayang Military Station. Indian Army troops, in seamless collaboration with the Fire Services Department, Pasighat, executed the joint exercise, meticulously refining existing response protocols and significantly enhancing inter-agency coordination for the paramount safety of lives.
This crucial drill comes on the heels of the recently concluded Military-Civil Fusion Seminar, underscoring a shared and resolute commitment from both forces to bolster emergency preparedness and diligently safeguard lives and property. The exercise was designed to be a real-time test of operational readiness, featuring a meticulously simulated fire emergency scenario. This allowed for a realistic assessment of reaction times, interoperability between the two agencies, and the efficacy of standard operating procedures. Swift mobilisation of fire tenders, essential rescue equipment, and dedicated Quick Reaction Teams was observed, as they diligently carried out containment, evacuation, and rescue operations under conditions designed to mirror genuine emergencies.
Senior officials from both the Indian Army and the Fire Services Department were present to supervise the entire drill, expressing profound commendation for the professionalism and remarkable seamless coordination exhibited by all participants. The exercise unequivocally succeeded in its objectives, significantly bolstering inter-agency cooperation, sharpening critical emergency response capabilities, and fostering a robust culture of safety awareness amongst both military personnel and the civilian populace.
