Acting on specific intelligence inputs regarding hidden weapon stockpiles, joint teams comprising personnel from Manipur Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), and Army/Assam Rifles swooped down on various suspected locations. The meticulously planned raids led to the recovery of a staggering 86 weapons, including five AK-series rifles, three INSAS rifles, 16 SLRs, five .303 rifles, 19 pistols, and two carbines. Additionally, 60 assorted rifles, anti-riot guns, SBBL/bore action guns, JVPCs, bolt-action rifles, and a two-inch mortar were also confiscated, demonstrating the diverse and dangerous nature of the illegal armaments circulating in the state.

The operation further yielded 974 rounds of live ammunition across multiple calibres, including 7.62mm, 5.56mm, .303, 9mm, and .32mm, alongside nine grenades, six HE mortar shells, two tube launchers, and four improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
