Tripura BJP Holds Crucial Brainstorming to Chart TTAADC Election Course
Agartala: In a significant move to solidify its standing ahead of the upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections next year, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tripura convened a pivotal Chintan Baithak on Thursday. The high-level brainstorming session aimed to fine-tune the party’s strategy and enhance its outreach among the state’s indigenous communities.
The deliberations, presided over by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, saw the participation of key party functionaries, including BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharya, Tribal Welfare Minister Bikas Debbarma, and former MP Rebati Tripura. A host of tribal MLAs, MDCs of the District Council, and other prominent tribal leaders were also in attendance, underscoring the party’s focus on tribal affairs.
Following the extensive session, Dr. Saha addressed the media, reiterating the Baithak’s importance in aligning the party’s roadmap with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for Janajati (tribal) development. “We are working as per the directions of the central leadership. This Baithak was essential to deliberate on what PM Modi has done for the Janajati people and what more can be achieved at the state level,” the Chief Minister stated, highlighting the party’s commitment to tribal welfare.
Dr. Saha further elaborated that the meeting served a dual objective: a comprehensive review of ongoing developmental initiatives for tribal communities and the meticulous formulation of a clear campaign strategy for the much-anticipated TTAADC elections. He stressed that as the world’s largest political party, the BJP must continually expand its footprint and connect deeper with tribal communities.
“We regularly hold such Chintan Baithaks with our Janajati leaders to ensure our efforts are effective and grounded. PM Modi has always prioritised the welfare of backward classes, and our state government is committed to this vision,” Dr. Saha affirmed, reinforcing the party’s inclusive agenda. The session also delved into vital aspects such as communication strategies, bolstering ground-level outreach, and identifying key welfare achievements to be prominently showcased during the electoral campaign.
