BJP Unveils New Morcha Leadership in Arunachal Pradesh
Itanagar: In a significant move to invigorate its grassroots presence, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on July 23, 2025, announced the appointment of five new Morcha heads for its Arunachal Pradesh unit. These strategic selections, greenlit by National President J.P. Nadda, were made by the recently appointed State BJP President, Kaling Moyong, with a clear aim to broaden the party’s outreach and activities across diverse segments of the population.
The newly appointed leaders are set to steer various wings of the party. Nabam Yahi from Papum Pare district has been entrusted with the Mahila Morcha, signaling a push for greater women’s participation. Tamey Siyang from Kurung Kumey will now lead the Yuva Morcha, focusing on engaging the state’s youth. The Minority Morcha will be headed by Taring Rai from Upper Subansiri, while Kame Yangfo from East Kameng takes charge of the ST Morcha, reflecting the party’s emphasis on tribal welfare. Lastly, Gumsen Lollen from West Siang has been appointed to lead the Kissan Morcha, indicating a renewed focus on agricultural communities.
Party stalwarts emphasised that these appointments underscore the BJP’s dedicated strategy to deepen grassroots engagement, aligning with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party president J.P. Nadda. State President Kaling Moyong conveyed his firm belief that the newly inducted Morcha heads will infuse fresh vigour into the organisational machinery and significantly contribute to the developmental objectives the party has laid out for Arunachal Pradesh.
