The US President Donald Trump presented the prestigious Legion of Merit to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his supreme leadership in the world stage and elevating strategic partnership between the two countries.

The award was given by the US National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien at the White House and accepted by India’s Ambassador to the US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu, on behalf on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Donald Trump also presented the Legion of Merit to Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and the former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
