The Northeast Frontier Railway Sports Association clinched the Radha Gobinda Baruah U-16 Inter District Cricket Tournament 2020-21 which concluded on Thursday in Barpeta. N.F.R.S.A won by the final match by defeating the Silchar team on virtue of 1st innings lead. Sumit Kashyap of N.F.R.S.A won the man of the match award in the final. Ronit Akhtar of N.F.R.S.A won the best batsman award. Derhasa Boro of Tezpur won the both best bowler and man of the series award for his astonishing performance in the tournament. Srinjoy Chakrabarty of N.F.R.S.A won the best wicket keeper honours.
In the Closing Ceremony Nabajit Pathak, Addl Deputy Commissioner Barpeta, Pranjal Pratim Das, Circle Officer Barpeta, Sameeran Baishya, Sub Divisional Police Officer Baksa, Sujit Kakati, CEO Assam Cricket Association, Shankar Datta Lahkar, Chairman Tournament Committee Assam Cricket Association, Nasir Gul Khan,Media Co-ordinator Assam Cricket Association, Sanatan Das, General Secretary Barpeta District Sports Association were present and gave away the prizes.
