Guwahati: A robbery of Rs 1 lakh allegedly took place in Guwahati’s Fatasil area on Friday.
It was reported that the robbery was executed by two bike-borne persons from a MUV that was parked outside an HDFC bank branch in the area. As per reports the said money belonged to a businessman named BP Singh.
Initially, reports claimed that the money was Rs 35 lakhs but later Singh’s driver claimed that the amount is only Rs 1 lakh. The money as per the report was withdrawn by Singh’s driver and another employee based on his instructions but it was then robbed while the car was parked.
The motorcycle was identified to be a red Bajaj Pulsar.
