Guwahati: Assam Pradesh Congress Committee has constituted a team to visit Majuli Legislative Assembly Constituency to take stock of the present political situation.
The team that will be heading to Majuli apart from taking stock of the political scenario, will also interact with the grassroot Congress workers and other members of the party to know what exactly has been going on.
Further, the team will conduct cross-section interaction with the people of Majuli. The committee has been asked to submit the report with a “future roadmap” about the party’s strategies by 7th July.
APCC leadership has appointed Bhupen Bora as the team leader of the committee while Basanta Das, Dadu Tave, Babul Sonowal, Rajesh Joshi, and Padma Lochan Doley will be members of the committee.
Congress’s senior spokesperson and general secretary will be the Convenor of the team.
