Assam HSLC 2021: Pass percentage goes up to 93.10, Highest since 1990
Guwahati: The much awaited High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination results were finally announced on Friday with a total pass percentage of 93.10 per cent.
Among the the total students, there were total 197565 male candidates while 228988 were female candidates. Apart from these students, results of 26 candidates were kept as withheld. The pass percentage of this year’s result has been the highest since 1990.
Since this year, due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, there were no official rank holders announced as the marks of the candidates were distributed only on the basis of assessments of the candidates’ past performances.
It may further be mentioned that as the results were declared on the basis of information provided by the school, there will not be any provision for recounting, re-evaluation of marks and providing of photocopies of Answer Scripts, in the Office of Board of Secondary Education, Assam.
Results of some of the candidates have been kept withheld due to the various reasons. The candidates whose Results have been kept withheld for various reasons shall be required to appear before the Clearance Committee of Examination, SEBA for personal hearing with a letter of identification from the Heads of concerned School after 7 (seven) days from the date of declaration of results. They shall also bring original Admit Card and Registration Card with them.
