Horse painted in BJP Colours, BJP MP Maneka Gandhi’s NGO files Complaint
Guwahati: Bharatiya Janata Party MP Maneka Gandhi’s NGO has filed a complaint after a horse was painted in “BJP colors” during the party’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore.
According to reports, Ramdas Garg, a local rented a horse at the Jan Ashirwad Yatra before painting it in BJP colors. Painted in orange and green, the horse sported a lotus, the party’s symbol, and the party’s name was written on its body.
People for Animals (PFA) filed a complaint about the issue under The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 at Indore’s Sanyogitaganj Police station.
A Police official informed that an inquiry has been started and the police are searching for the owner of the horse.
The PFA is likely to report the issue to the Election Commission as well.
