Guwahati: With the COVID-19 scenario in the state improving, the Assam Government has now decided to resume the offline classes in the state with certain conditions.
As per the new directives, offline classes of students up to class 11 will remain suspended but classes for students above that will resume from September 6. The directive further said that the students who are vaccinated with a single dose of the vaccine will be allowed to attend the classes in order to stay at hostels they will have to be vaccinated with two doses.
However, only students above the age of 18 are allowed to attend the classes and one class has to have only 30 students. If the number of students is greater than 30, then additional sections may be created.
Lower classes will, however, still continue with online classes.
