Indian Athletes bring home Five Gold Medals from Tokyo Paralympics
Guwahati: India concluded its Tokyo Paralympics 2020 campaign with 19 medals including five gold medals, eight silver, and six bronze medals.
India finished 24th in the overall medal tally out of 162 nations, while its accomplishment of 19 medals is ranked 20th on the basis of the number of medals the country won. The country sent its biggest ever contingent of 54 para-athletes at the Paralympics.
Avani Lekhara, Pramod Bhagat, Krishna Nagar, Sumit Antil, and Manish Narwal were the names of the athletes who won the Gold Medals at Tokyo Paralympics 2020.
The names of silver medalists were Bhavinaben Patel, Singhraj Adhana, Yogesh Kathuniya, Nishad Kumar, Mariyappan Thangavelu, Praveen Kumar, Devendra Jhajharia, and Suhas Yathiraj.
Similarly, the Bronze medalists were Avani Lekhara, Harvinder Singh, Sharad Kumar, Sundar Singh Gurjar, Manoj Sarkar, and Singhraj Adhana.
